On 27 December 2006 the Union "Public Movement Multinational Georgia"
conducted the first working meeting where participated: 
- George Khutsishvili - "International Centre on Conflicts and
Negotiations"
- Nino Tsikhistavi - "Research-Consultancy Network of Caucasian Women"
- Koba Bochorishvili - "Network for Constitutional Rights Protection"
- Tamar Gurchiani - "Georgian Young Lawyers Association"
- Tamar Gabisonia - "Article 42 of the Constitution".

The project is being implemented with support of the Minorities Rights
Group International in partnership with Regional organization of
Samtskhe-Javakheti "Tolerant", the Union "Minorities of Adjara",
Armenian Centre for Cooperation and National Congress of Kurds-Ezids of
Georgia.

The main task of the meeting is development of the draft law "On the
Protection of Rights and Freedoms of Persons Belonging to National
Minorities", its improvement in accordance with international
normative-legal acts and national legislation of Georgia, as well as its
further lobbying in the Parliament of Georgia. 

In the nearest future the draft law will become the discussion topic
among the public at large and political circles of
Georgia.
