SETU PEOPLE AGAINST NEW ESTONIAN-RUSSIAN BORDER TREATY

Tomorrow on May 18th in Moscow, Estonia and Russia will sign a border
treaty. Up until now the border between the two countries has not been
fully agreed upon. In 1940 Estonia was annexed into the Soviet Union,
while the previous Estonian-Russian border was defined by the Tartu
peace treaty of 1920. 


BELGIAN LANGUAGE DEBATE PUT ON HOLD

A decision on how to solve a high-profile language problem in Belgium
has been put off for another two years as Flemish and Walloon
negotiators failed to reach a deal on dividing the constituency of
Brussels-Halle-Vilvoorde. The problem has now been moved from the
federal to the Flemish government. In Wallonia politicians are asking to
freeze all language and community related debates until after the next
elections in 2007. 


ANDREW GEORGE MP SWEARS IN CORNISH IN PARLIAMENT

language during the swearing of allegiance to the Queen in the UK
Parliament on Thursday.
