Launch of MRG briefing on genocide and minorities 

MINORITY RIGHTS GROUP INTERNATIONAL 

WILL LAUNCH ITS ADVOCACY BRIEFING PAPER 

"GENOCIDE AND MINORITIES: PREVENTING THE PREVENTABLE" 

On April 16th, 2004, 1pm to 2pm 
in Room 21, Palais des Nations 
(United Nations Office in Geneva) 

The Paper summarises MRG's recommendations to the U.N.
Secretary-General's High Level Panel on Global Threats 

Speakers: 

John Packer (author of the brief and Visiting Assistant Professor of
International Law, Fletcher School, Tufts University)
Joseph Rajkumar (Senior Adviser, Pax Romana) 
Sukhvinder Kaur Stubbs (Director, Barrow Cadbury Trust) 

The meeting will be chaired by Edward Mortimer (Director of
Communications, Office of the U.N. Secretary-General)
