#8. A SCHOOL FOR JEWISH CHILDREN BUILT IN BAKU

On October 14, there will be an opening ceremony of a new education
complex in Baku.

An education complex named "Khabad or Ovner" already has the license
from the Ministry of Education. According to Meyr Brun, a rabbi of the
"Khabad or Ovner" community, education will be carried out in accordance
with the program of the Ministry of Education at the school regarded for
the Jewish schoolchildren and will be taught "Azeri Language",
"Azerbaijani History", literature, and others like in local schools.

In the words of Meyr Brun, the education will be held in Russian and
there will be additionally taught Ivrit language and "Jewish Traditions"
at the "Khabad or Ovner" education complex. In his words, the collective
and director of the school are Azeris. The school situates at the 14 A.
Mustafayev street.
