Meeting with OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities, Knut
Vollebaek
On 19th September 2008 a meeting of the OSCE High Commissioner on
National Minorities, Knut Vollebaek with representatives of 5 largest
ethnic communities of Georgia took place in Tbilisi. Among the topics
mainly discussed during the meeting was the situation created as a
result of Georgian-Osetian conflict, as well as the problems already
faced by or which may face minorities in the existing situation. The
discussion also went around the Draft Law �On the Protection of Rights
and Freedoms of Persons Belonging to National Minorities�.

On 10th September 2008, in the Hague (the Netherlands), from 17.00 to
22.00 by the local time, at the building of the UN International
Tribunal, "Multinational Georgia" will conduct the protest action
against Russian aggression.
