Bauorden is Looking for two long term volunteers from March 2007 or
later - work camps in Germany

International Building Order (IBO) Germany will host two long term
volunteers from Eastern Europe from March 2007 or later.

The volunteers will mainly participate in different work camps which are
organized by IBO throughout the year in Germany. During these work camps
a group of volunteers supports a social and non-profit organisation by
renovation and construction works: a homeless shelter needs new sanitary
facilities, a former farm building is now owned by a Christian
association and will be turned into a youth centre and so on.

You don't need to have a lot of experience with construction works, but
you should be aware that you will work about 8 hours a day on
construction sites in different regions of Germany (weekends are mostly
free).

Apart from work camps the volunteer may also assist our office in Worms
in organizing different events and work camps. During periods of free
time, seminars and trips to cultural sights may be organized. You will
spend a lot of time with other international volunteers, but will also
have the chance to meet German volunteers.

Who are we looking for?
min. age: 18 years
You should be open and flexible, and willing to live and work in a small
international group of volunteers.
You do not need to speak German yet - you will learn it during the year.

IBO will give priority to applicants who have had only few possibilities
to participate in international activities so far.
We strongly recommend to participate in one of our work camps before
taking a final decision. If needed, travel costs etc. can be paid by
IBO.
Speaking of which - the volunteer will recieve the following financial
support:

Accomodation and food during the work camps will be provided
Monthly pocket money: 180 Euro
Final payment at the end of the year: 600 Euro
Monthly money for food outside the workcamps: 50 Euro
Travel costs will partly be reimbursed.
For weekends and free days the volunteers will also have free
accomodation in Worms.

You are interested? Send your application (CV and letter of motivation,
in English, German or Romanian) as soon as possible to [email protected]
or get in touch with us if you have further questions.
We are looking forward to hear from you.
