Dutchman reappointed OSCE minorities chief
 
ISTANBUL, Nov 19 (AFP) - Dutch minister of state Max van der Stoel has
been appointed for another year as High Commissioner for Minorities at
the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE).
 
Van der Stoel will stay in the position until the next ministerial
meeting of the OSCE in November/December of next year, the summit
final declaration said.
 
The Dutchman has held the post since January 1993 when it was created.
