German minority in Hungary

I am currently working on an article on the ethnolinguistic vitality
and political status of German-speaking minorities in central /
eastern Europe and I would be very grateful if any minelres list
subscribers could give me up-to-date information on the
German-speaking community in Hungary.

I am particularly looking for a) bibliographical references to
academic literature on the post-1989 situation of this community, b)
references to documentary material on legislation affecting this group
(and other ethnic/national minorities in Hungary), and c) references
to (sources of) statistical data.

>From the moderator: Dear Patrick, some data of interest to you (eg
legislation and some factual information) can be found at the website
of the Office for National and Ethnic Minorities in Hungary
<http://www.meh.hu/nekh/>. Our Hungarian colleagues will surely point
to more sources.
