Dear friends, 

We are looking for your advice concerning further funding for
MINELERS. 

The project has been in operation since March 1997. 
It was financed by the Soros Foundation Latvia Internet Program; NGO
Centre - Riga; Open Society Institute (New York) Internet Program;
Small Grants Program of the Netherlands Embassy in Riga (MATRA KAP);
UNDP Regional Program for Central Eastern Europe; Human Rights Fund,
Open Society Institute Budapest. 

Our current grant goes to an end. We have been searching extensively
for further funding. Unfortunately, funding opportunities within
Latvia are limited. Would you advice us on where to turn to in our
fundraising efforts? 

Yearly budget of the MINELRES project amounts to 27,000 USD, including
all the personnel costs, taxes, payments for the leased phone line,
the Internet, office expenses etc. 

We have been trying to find new funding ourselves and this effort will
certainly be continued. However, if you find our service valuable, may
be there is something you can suggest?
