Roma health issues - institutional development in Romania

Those interested on Roma health issues:
 
Please note the increased interest of the Romanian government on Roma
health issues materialized in a new institutional development: from
August 2000, whitin the Ministry of Health was created a new post of
Councilor for Roma issues of the Minister. The appointed councilor,
Dr. Hanna Dobronauteanu, from the Public Health Direction Bucharest,
is expected to support the dialogue between Ministry of Health and the
Roma community and to contribute to the improvement of the health
status of Roma in Romania.
