In 1972, Bulgarian Communist Party officials told Muslim men in
Breznitsa they would have to report to the community center and look
through a book to choose Christian names for family members. After the
fall of communism, the men went to Sofia and got their names back.
Now, over 10 years later, Breznitsa is celebrating ethnic diversity
and economic cooperation between Christians and Muslims. Matthew
Brunwasser reports from Breznitsa.
