European conference against racism "All Different - All Equal"

The Member States of the Council of Europe are preparing for the UN
World Conference Against Racism. The European preparatory conference
takes place in October 2000. The results of this conference will be
found mainly in two documents that are drafted right now.
- Political Declaration
- General Conclusions
You will be able to find the draft version of the two documents on
http://www.icare.to within the next couple of days.
You are invited to download the files, to read them and comment on
them. The Political Declaration will be endorsed by officials on
ministerial level. As such it cannot be influenced very much. The
General Conclusions, however, will be the results of the conference as
a whole. For that reason, participating NGOs will have more of a
chance to influence this particular outcome.
