Minority Course 1999 in Aabenraa 


The Minority Course 1999 at H=F8jskolen =D8sters=F8en in Aabenraa
Denmark, the 3. of its kind, is starting on Sunday the 4th of July and
is ending on Saturday the 17th of July. This international youth
meeting will address the European minority question in a variety of
ways through both lectures and workshops. The programme is available
on Peoplesite at http://www.people.hojoster.dk (under summer courses).
The meeting of 62 young Europeans active in NGOs or students, and
representing both minority and majority populations, will be a forum
for dialogue between the many different cultures and nationalities in
Europe. About 30 different cultural backgrounds will be represented at
the course. The results of the Minority Course 1999, including a
presentation of the participants and the report, will also be
available at Peoplesite.
 
The Minority Course 1999 is funded by the Danish Democracy Foundation,
the Youth for Europe programme, the European Youth Foundation under
the Council of Europe, Ole Kirks Fond, DUPI, Michael Jebsen Fonden,
A.P.Jessen Fonden and H=F8jskolen =D8sters=F8en.
