Training Program in NGO Capacity Building
 
The Threshold Foundation offers a training program to improve the work
of NGOs working in the fields of Human Rights, Citizens´Diplomacy,
Environment Protection and Conflict Management.
 
The two main topics of such training courses are Advanced Internet
Usage and Fundraising. The specific contents of each training are
drafted in communication between the NGO and the Threshold prior to
the course. The training period is one week-end and the course will be
held on-site at the location of the NGO. Training costs will be
negotiated in reference to the financial capacities of the trainees´
orga-nization. NGOs interested in such a training can contact Dr Luber
directly.

The training is executed by Dr Burkhard Luber from the Threshold
Foundation. Burkhard Luber works with a wide range of NGOs abroad for
more then two decades. His special focus is NGO management,
information technology, fundraising, public relations and on-line
networking. He is author of "The World At Your Keyboard - An
Alternative Guide to Global Computer Networking" (Oxford) and
electronic communication moderator for the "FÈderation Internationale
des Journalistes de l'Environnement" in Paris. He publishes "Grassroot
Good News", a magazine for conflict management, human rights and
ecology.
