Capacity building support needs of development organizations
in CEE/CA


The Coady International Institute offers training and support to
development organizations from Africa, Asia, Canada, the Carribean,
Latin and South America.  Coady offers a 20 week Diploma Program in
Community-Based Development as well as shorter Certificate Programs in
areas such as Advocacy, Networking, Community-Based Micro-Finance and
NGO Management.

Recently, Coady has begun to receive inquires from indivuals and
organizations in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and Central Asia
(CA).  In order to determine how best to respond to this new demand,
Coady is gathering feedback from development focused civil society
organizations and NGOs in CEE and CA.  We invite interested groups to
assist us by completing a survey about the "Capacity Building Support
Needs of Non-governmental / Civil Society Organizations in Central and
Eastern Europe and Central Asia".

There are two forms of this survey.  The first version is intended for
non-governmental organizations or INGOs implementing projects or
programs in these regions.  The second version is for international,
national or regional support organizations or donors currently funding
projects in CEE/CA.  To obtain a copy of the survey, contact:
