"Trend". 180 thousand ethnic Russians are living in Azerbaijan, making
up 2,4 percent of the total population. The Institute of the
Commonwealth of Independent States has published these data on ethnic
Russians living in post-Soviet republics and some foreign countries.
260 thousand ethnic Russians are living in Georgia (4,9 percent of the
population), 10 thousand in Armenia (0,3 percent), 2,1 million in
Belarus (20,4 percent), 4,5 million in Kazahstan (30 percent), 290
thousand in Kyrgyzstan (6,5 percent), 741 thousand in Latvia (29,6
percent), 304 thousand in Lithuania (8,7 percent), 500 thousand in
Moldova (11,5 percent), 140 thousand in Tadjikistan (2,4 percent), 50
thousand in Turkmenistan (1,2 percent), 1,3 million in Uzbekistan (5,8
percent), 11,2 million in Ukraine (21,8 percent), including 1,55
million in Crimea (62 percent), 416 thousand in Estonia (28,5
percent).
