"Crimean Tatar Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs)" is a new Web
presentation that features 12 organizations that are currently active
in Crimea, Ukraine. The NGO activities extend to the areas of
education, health care, human and civil rights, family and women,
programs for the youth, and the revival of traditional arts and
crafts. It provides us with a glimpse of how Crimean Tatars are
reestablishing their lives in their ancestral homeland after a
fifty-year forced exile. The illustrated Web document is located at
the following URL:

http://members.xoom.com/iccrimea/krimngos.html

It is also accessible from SOTA's Crimean Tatar Web site:

"Crimean Tatar Non-Governmental Organizations" has been sponsored by
the Crimean Tatar Initiative, Simferopol, and the Rebirth of Crimea
Foundation, Bakhchisaray. Its publication on the Web has been made
possible by the International Committee for Crimea.
