First Information Announcement

Dear  Mr. and Ms.

In May - June, 2001 there would be conducted International
Scientific-Practical Conference "The Ways of Solving Armed Conflicts"
in Baku.

The work of the Conference would be conducted in two directions:
1) Historical experience and perspective of solving conflicts
peacefully;
2) Historical experience and perspectives of armed solving of
conflicts.

On the Conference the following topics would be presented and
discussed:
1) Historical and geopolitical reasons of armed conflicts;
2) Economical, social-political and ecological results of armed
conflicts;
3) Military aspects of the conflicts;
4) World experience of solving conflicts;
5) Offering new models. Forecast of the development of situation;
6) Humanitarian disaster, as a result of armed conflicts.
International law and Human Rights.

The duration of the Conference is 4 days.
