Query: Courses on Ethnicity/Nationalism

Dear colleagues,

I am putting together material for an undergraduate and a postgraduate
option on ethnicity and nationalism in Europe.

I wonder whether anyone could provide some information on any or all
of the following issues:

How popular are such units in general?
Which aspects do students like most/least?
On what levels are courses mostly offered (i.e., first, second, final
year, MA level)?
Is the focus exclusively on ethnicity/nationalism, or do you
incorporate religion/fundamentalism as well?
Do you take a primarily theoretical perspective, or primarily case
studies approach, or mixture of the two?
Do you focus on individual countries/regions or do you take a broad
European approach (e.g., from the Basque country to the Caucasus)?

Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks in advance.

Best wishes,

Stefan Wolff
