Fwd: QUERY: Looking for good graduate school for Fulbright
student

N.B.: Please reply to Ms. Rothaus directly

Hello, my name is Leslie Rothaus, and I work for the Institute of
International Education, the administering organization of the
Fulbright grant. I am writing on behalf of a Fulbright student from
Latvia who has been awarded a grant for graduate study in the US
beginning in Fall 2000. This student is seeking a Master's program in
Cultural and Applied Anthropology with an emphasis on policy. She is
primarily interested in the ways in which cultural anthropology can
contribute to policy making in general, but more specifically in
Latvia. I would like to ask the advice of anyone connected with the
Society for the Anthropology of Europe as to whether they know of any
graduate programs that might be a good match for this student. She
has currently applied to two schools, NYU and New School but is hoping
to apply to at least two more institutions. Any advice would be
greatly appreciated. I can be reached by e-mail at [email protected]
or by phone (212) 984-5498.

Thank you very much for your time and consideration of this request.

Sincerely,
Leslie Rothaus
