To non-governmental organizations:
 
As announced at the OSCE Permanent Council meeting of 1 February 2001,
and in accordance with the modalities for OSCE meetings on Human
Dimension issues (PC.DEC/241 of July 1998), the Chairmanship will hold
three Supplementary Human Dimension Meetings in 2001.  The meetings
will take place in Vienna and will have interpretation in the six
working languages of the OSCE. Each meeting will have three
consecutive working sessions.  The agenda for each meeting will be
made available at least 30 days in advance and can be downloaded from
the following website (http://www.osce.org/odihr/meetings.htm). 
Please find below the topics, sub-topics, and dates of 2001 OSCE
Supplementary Human Dimension events.
 
Attached are the agenda, general guidelines and NGO registration form
relating to the upcoming OSCE Supplementary Human Dimension Meeting on
Freedom of Expression: New and Existing Challenges to be held in
Vienna on 12-13 March 2001.  NGOs whose activities directly relate to
the topic of the Meeting and wish to attend are requested to register
for this event and return a completed NGO registration form by 26
February 2001. Due to limited space, NGOs are kindly requested to
register a maximum of two representatives from each organization.
 
The OSCE Human Dimension Seminar will be held in Warsaw, Poland 29-31
May and focus on "Election Processes".
