Dear friends,
the German government is currently holding the presidency in the
Baltic Sea Council. One of the German initiatives is an NGO Conference
with participants from around the Baltic Sea. The Conference is
scheduled for 28/29th May this year in L�beck, Germany. The issue
areas to be covered are human rights, environment and youth exchange.
The German network of Human Rights Organisations FORUM MENSCHENRECHTE
is supporting this initiative as we are interested in closer contact
with organisations in the countries surrounding the Baltic Sea.
The DEADLINE for submitting proposals for who should be invited to the
conference is February 15th. If you know about any organisation which
would like to participate (or in case you want to get an invitation
yourself), please let me know the name of the organisation, postal
address and email if available.
The FORUM MENSCHENRECHTE is especially interested in meeting with
organisations who are working on MIGRATION, TRAFFICKING IN WOMEN as
well as SOCIAL RIGHTS. Any other suggestions are welcome as well!
