Czech families from Kazakhstan

Over 600 people of Czech origin from the Central Asian country of
Kazakhstan have moved to the Czech Republic since 1994. The move was
organized for 175 families by the People in Need foundation - a Czech
NGO that works with Czech minorities abroad - along with the Ministry
of the Interior, several municipalities and the labour office. The
Privratsky couple with their 18-year old son, for example, recently
received an apartment in the town of Ceska Lipa in a building formerly
inhabited by the Soviet army.
