Youth Group on National Minorities
 
The purposes of group:
 
- Protection of the rights of national minorities at national and
international level;
- Increase of participation of the representatives of national
minorities in public life, and during acceptance of the decisions;
- Simplification of access of the members of national minority to the
information and increase of their participation in a flow of the
information;
- Initiation and support of an intercultural exchange;
- Influence on public opinion at a national and international level
for increasing interethnic tolerance and cooperation;
- Support of democratization of establishments (schools, police, local
authorities);
- Distribution of the special information about national minority and
interethnic relations;
- Development of tolerance;
- Involving representatives of national minority in construction of a
civil society (community).
 
The programs of group:
 
- Tracking observance of the rights of national minority;
- Initiation of legal reform under the prevention ethnic and religious
discrimination according to the international standards;
- Paying attention to how the questions connected with the rights of
national minority are reflected in mass-media;
- Support of ethnic and cultural rights of national minority;
- The legal help and protection for the rights of national minority;
- Support of participation of the members of national minority in
public life;
- Support of interethnic activities at local cultural centers;
- Development of intercultural dialogue;
- Support of education in the native language;
- Support of festivals of various cultural and religious communities;
- Support of issue of documentary films, which raise intercultural
understanding;
- Help to local authorities in creation of networks and work with
national minority;
- Preparation of police for work with national minority;
- Preparation of the managers of Mass-media for illumination of
questions connected to national minority and intercultural questions;
- Support for the women in communities of national minority.
