Youth language courses of the Council of Europe
1999 PROGRAMME YOUTH DIRECTORATE OF THE COUNCIL OF EUROPE
Language Courses / Intercultural Learning
French - German - Italian - English - Spanish - Portuguese
Supporters of UNITED can apply for a place at these courses through a
nomination of the UNITED network. Please send us a short note with
your name and the course you would be interested in. You will then
receive an application form.
Participants should be: aged between 18 and 30, actively involved in a
youth organisation or network, well informed about the
organisation/network, highly motivated and willing to work within a
group.
Courses cost 1000 FFR, which will be deducted from the travel
reimbursement. Board and lodging are free to participants.
Participants will attend classroom sessions, but will also be
encourage to take responsibility for their own learning, through
self-study times, projects and contacts with local people. A very
basic knowledge of the languages is required, unless there are special
circumstances.

The deadline to contact UNITED is 15 February 1999. You will have to
be prepared to fill in your nomination forms immediately when we fax
them to you and to fax as well as send them to UNITED on the same day.
