(3) The apparatus is obliged to ensure equal treatment for all soldiers, in connection with the conditions of the conduct of service and security of soldiers according to part fifth and eight.

(4) In the employment relationship any kind of discrimination of soldiers for reasons of race, colour of skin, sex, sexual orientation, language, believe and religion, ethnic and social origin, property, kin, marital and family status or responsibilities to the family is prohibited; with the exception of material reason resting in the expectations and nature of the task, given to the soldier, and which is necessary for conduct of this task. Prohibited is also such conduct of apparatus, which discriminates not directly, but in its consequences.
