ON PROCLAMATION OF LAW ON SCHOOL INSPECTIONS
Article 1.
This Law regulates duties, rights, obligations, responsibilities and way of work of the school inspections of Ministry of education and sport (later referred as school inspection).

II. SCHOOL INSPECTION RESPONSIBILITIES
Article 7.

(3) Ministry will assure necessary number of inspectors of the same national affiliation for the control of the institutions where education in languages and scripts of ethnic and national communities or minorities is taking place. Exceptionally, inspector who is not a member of ethic and national community or minority, but only in the case if he commands excellent language and script in which education is taking place can undertake inspection.

V. TRANSITIONAL AND ENDING REGULATIONS

Article 38.
On the day when this Law will be put in force, previous Law on school inspections will no longer be valid ("Narodne novine", No. 5/81. and 39/87) in preschool institutions, primary and secondary schools and highschools and dormitories and other legal persons who undertake education, except Universities.
Article 39.
The implementation of this Law begins on the eight day after its publication in "Narodne novine".
